MIZON SNAIL REPAIR INTENSIVE AMPOULE REVIEW

INGREDIENTS:

PACKAGE:

It comes in a dark brown glass bottle with attached pipette. The dark colour of the bottle prevents the product from exposure to the sun light. Thanks to that I can keep in on my "beauty desk", not hiding it in the drawer. Besides it looks nice and sleek. I like using pipette simply for sanitary reasons.

INGREDIENTS:

Snail Secretion Filtrate - it is the 80% of snail mucin. Why is it good for the skin? It contains antioxidants, proteins and glycolic acid, which is good mostly for fighting acne, healing skin problems and also calming dry skin

Sodium Hyaluronate - Hyaluronic Acid. Those with dry skin know, that this is great ingredient which helps to keep skin moisturized

Butylene Glycol - also it has nourishing and hydranting properties, helps other ingredients go deep into the skin. It also prevents the product to dry out

Glycerin - it is a great moisturizer, helps improving skin elasticity, wound healing and it's antibacterial

Alcohol - is it really bad for the skin? what it does? what is the purpose of the alcohol in cosmetics? Alcohol helps some ingredients go deep through the skin, which is a good thing. Some types like Cetyl Alcohol or Stearyl Alcohol can be beneficial for dry skin. Not so good for the oily skin, because it can cause irritation. The fact that it has been place on the 5th place on the ingredients list worries me. I find cosmetics with alcohol drying and skin irritating

Panthenol - provitamine B5, nurishes and smoothes the skin

Glycereth-26 - oil, nourishes the skin, ingredient thickening agent

Punica Granatum Extract - pomegranate, source of vitamine C, strong antioxidant, stimulates production of collagen

Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract - rich in antioxidants, good for dry skin type

Carbomer - thickener, makes other ingredients sticky, chemical component, can cause skin irritation.

Triethanolamine - pH balancing ingredient, can cause skin iritation

Trehalose - sugar, can be found in plants, hydating properties

Copper Tripeptide-1 - antioxidant, regenerates the skin, helps in production of collagen, keeps skin hydrated, rebuilds blood microcirculation, helps removing scars

Human Oligopeptide-1 - helps to treat wounds, regenerates the skin

Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 - helps in collagen and elastin production, skin rejuvenation factor

Cornus Officinalis Fruit Extract - maintains the skin in good condition, brightens the skin, antioxidant

Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract - whitening and anti-wrinkle factor

Caprylyl Glyocol - skin conditioning agent, can cause irritation 

Ethylhexylglycerin - natural preservative, alternative to parabens, can cause allegries

Tropolone - skin conditioning factor 

Sodium Polyacrylate - hydrating factor, can cause irritation

Adenosine - anti-aging benefits, helps preventing wrinkles, reduces UVB damage

This ingredients list doesn't look bad at all. Apart from few "bad" factors, there are really great components with great benefits for the skin.

Above you have all the steps you should follow in order to improve your skin. I have a feeling that they constantly adding new product to this line. I only tried steps: 1, 2, 4 and 8.


DOES THIS REALLY WORK:

I'm not fully satisfied with this product to be honest. I haven't seen any spectacular effects after using the ampoule for few months constantly. There were some improvements, but nothiing special. I used it with All-in-one Snail Repair Cream, Snail Recovery Gel Cream and Snail Repairing Foam Cleanser. It's a good skin care product, but in my opinion it's for young people up to 25 years old. It does lightly moisturizing, nourishing the skin, but it's not enough for my very dry one. It lasts for a long time though. I haven't seen any wrinke improvement (although I don't have many, only under my eyes), some of my "pimple scars" vanished quicker than normal. But still had to use another nourishing cream to make my skin more moisturized.  Maybe if I used all of the products, my skin would have been perfectly nourished? Maybe I will try all the line one day.

Some time ago my skin was in a really bad condition. Probably I was going through a some sort of allegry and my skin was in total diseaster. I have done some research and this cream had quite good reviews. Besides I found it in a really good price, so I thought why not try it.

The ingredients list is quite long. The only thing that bothers me is that it contains alcohol listed on the fourth place. I don't like using facial products with too much alcohol. But the rest seemed to be OK. 

PACKAGING:

It's a dark brown glass jar packed in a brown box. The box itself has a safety hologram sticker, so you can be sure that no one before you has used it or simply touched it. It has both Korean and English informations written on the sides of the box (sorry I don't have the pictures of it). The product itself comes, like I mentioned before, in a dark brown glass jar. Nice, because I don't have to store it in a dark place, it can be placed on my vanity stand. 

GENERAL INFORMATIONS:

This face cream doesn't have any particular smell. It has a milky color. It doesn't have the standard face cream consistency: it's more sticky, not at all creamy.Also it absorbes really quickly and doesn't leave the sticky feeling on a face. I applied it only during my daytime routine, for night time it was too light.

It's a lot of promises. Does it really do everything that the company promises it does?
I was using it along with other products from the Snail series (cleanser, gel cream and ampoule). After few months my skin looked brighter, the pimple scars got smaller (eventually disappeared). It also helped with getting rid of the irritation and redness from my face. I cannot say if it helps with taking care of wrinkles, because I haven't got any. But I don't think that it will remove them even after years of using this face cream.If it comes to pore care, I didn't notice any change.

OVERALL OPINION:

Mizon All in One Snail Cream helped me a lot in calming my skin. It got better after a week of using it. The thing that I didn't like about it was that didn't give me enough moisture. My skin is really dry and I need something what will give moisture and nourishment. This cream was too light for me.

The producer highly recommends this cream for:
  Acne scars
  Sensitive and tired skin due to environmental factors
 Skin pores losing elasticity
 Uneven dark skin tone
 Irritated skin from shaving or skin clinic procedures
  Fine wrinkles from losing moisture and elasticity

Because it has a light texture, it will be perfect for people with oily skin, maybe for comination skin as well. Also people with sensitive skin will be pleased with this cream, because it's not irritating. It will help with fighting the acne scars, any face discoloration, dark spots etc. I only won't recommend it for dry type of skin, because it won't give the needed moisture. 

MEMEBOX SUPERBOX #9 TONYMOLY REVIEW

The package of each Memebox stays the same, sometimes they are slightly bigger than the others. I think it depends of an original product's box. It's always pink and I never received damaged one.

This Memebox was filled with goodies from famous Korean brand Tonymoly. I heard so many good things about its skincare and always wanted to try it out. So when Memebox released the box fulfilled with products from this brand, I had to buy it.

Some of the items are their flagship products such as Tomatox Magic Massage or Petit Bunny Gloss Bar.


#1 TOMATOX MAGIC MASSAGE PACK (80g)

"Enriched with fresh tomatoes and pearl powders, Tomatox Magic Massage Pack brings you a multi functional facial care, providing double effects of both a massage cream and wash-off pack. Its soft, creamy texture will gently remove any residues on your skin, leaving it deeply energized and brightened."

It does what it says. Skin looks brighter and its very soft after one usage. It also whitens the skin, but it's only temporary. Skin also feels (and looks) clean. The only thing is that, if you have very sensitive skin, it can be irritating. I can't use this massage pack very often, because my skin will get irritated (but I cannot use any of whitening creams, gels etc, because they irritate my skin).
 Soon I will post a separate review on Tomatox Massage Pack, so you will find out who should use it and who shouldn't ;)

#2 NAIL FOUNDATION KIT (7ml x 3ea)

"This gentle nail polish kit contains no chemical compositions and is consisted of three nude colors - #1 Pale Beige, #2 Classic Beige,and #3 Camel Beige - perfect for a basic, feminine look."

These are very pretty colors, perfect for any occasion. They can be used seperately or together creating nice designs. Although they are not very pigmented. I need to apply two layers to get the perfect coverage. Also they dry so long. Without a quick dry top coat, I would have to wait for ages for them to dry. "No chemical compositions..."? I'm not sure about it ... but at least any of them doesn't contain Formaldehyde.


#3 FLORIA NUTRA - ENERGY 100 HOURS CREAM (45ml)

I LOVE this cream !!! It's one of my holly grails. It brightens, moisturizes and gives energy to the skin for whole day long. It is just perfect cream. I can't wait to try out whole Floria series. I will post a separate review on this product soon too :)


#4 EGG PORE SILKY SMOOTH BALM (20G)

"This balm type primer gives you a smooth, silky skin tone & texture by tightening the enlarged pores and meticulously filling in the fine lines and acne scars on your skin".

I used it only once, so I cannot tell you much about it. Skin does feel really soft after applying, great primer before using BB cream. I actually bought whole Egg series, so for sure I will post a review about it.

#5 POCKET BUNNY SLEEK MIST (60ml)

"If you feel your face gradually becoming shinier from facial oil not long after finishing your makeup in the morning, this Sleek Mist would be just what you're looking for. With extracts from cabbage, pineapple, and lemon, it will quickly soothe and re-adjust your skin to look nice and silky again."

Just look how adorable this mist is. It's cute, sleek, not bulky, perfect for purse and it smells divine. Not satisfied yet? It's a perfect after makeup mist. It absorbs quickly and "seals" your makeup. I also like to use it when I feel that during the day my face becomes tight. It gives moisture to the face and absorbs within a second. Also you can refill it after using all the liquid. Perfection :)


#6 PETIT BUNNY GLOSS BAR - JUICY CHERRY (2g)

"Lipstick and lip gloss combined together in the form of a creamy lip crayon, the Petit Bunny Gloss Bar softly melts onto your lips for a long-lasting rosy look. It's easy to use and easy to apply whenever and wherever your lips need a little bit of color of hydration."

Again so adorable. It smells and tastes like cherries. Also this gloss gives some color to your lips, but not very visible. It's more like a lip gloss than lipstick. It makes your lips so soft and applies really softly. No wonder that most of the girls in Korea are crazy about these lip bars. I want to try more of the colors !!! :)


#7 MR. SMILE PATCH (10g)

"With this hydro-gel type cooling patch, you won't ever have to worry about those folds along your smile line from the sides of your nose dow towards the ends of your lips. The black secret complex consisting of black bean extract, blueberry extracts, black sesame extracts and mulberry extracts will help nullify the thick creases that may hold you back from smiling to your heart's content."

So many good words, so many promises. I don't know how many of these it should be used to actually make it work? Maybe a 100, maybe more. But it might be fun to use. I haven't used it yet, so I can't tell you if  it works.


FINAL THOUGHTS:
This was one of the best boxes I bought. I like every single product. Tonymoly becomes slowly my favourite brand. Not only packages are so cute, but the products themselves are doing magic to my skin. Totally in love :)

LIOELE BLOOMING VOLUME AND CURLING MASCARA

INGREDIENTS:

Water, Acrylates / Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Copernicia Cerifera(Carnauba) Wax, Oryza Sativa(Rice) Bran Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera(Candelilla) Wax, Hydrogenated Stearyl Olive Esters, Triethanolamine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Stearate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Simethicone, Iron Oxides, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben

After mascara from Holika Holika I decided to try out another one. Lioele Blooming Volume and Curling Mascara looked quite interesting. It's also non-waterproof. I really like the package: bright, vibrant pink. Who doesn't love pink?!

The wand has a wavy shape: thick on the top, than it gets slimmer and it the end it's thick again. Somehow it reminds me  shape of a bee. Also the fibres are quite dense.

Unlike the wand from Holika Holika, this one is not flexible at all. 

Now before and after pictures:

As you can see it gives a lot of volume, not that much of a thickness.

The test shows that it's not waterproof at all. You can actually get rid of it using just water :)


FINAL OPINION:

I like this mascara. It gives volume and natural look. It's like your lashes but somehow better. I prefer the Holika Holika one just because I like the false lashes effect. Other than that it is a really good mascara. I will purchase it again.

Now let's get through this Memebox. What first caught my eye is the eye palette !!! I love eyeshadow paletts.

The nail polishes look really pretty. One is milky pink, second one is a golden glitter (pink gold to be precised). I'm not a pen eyeliner fan, but maybe this one will be good. Lipsticks are always welcome in my collection, The pretty colorful palette looks interesting, the last product looks like a powder or a highlighter.

This is how it looks like inside. Like I said everything is very well packed. Nothing is broken.
First thing on the list is:


#1 O& DESIGNING EYE COLLECTON + EASY BRUSH LINER

"This make-up set is the perfect size for carrying around. The palette includes a whole array of colors that you could use for any occasion. The 6 colors include Shimmer Gold, Glam Khaki, Pale Lavender, Deep Wine, Peach Brown and Deep Brown"

The package looks really sleek.

The inside palette looks really elegant. Colours are also very nice. The diamond shaped products are highlighter an eyeliner (I think both can be used as an eyeshadow base). All of these eyeshadows are shimmering.

The eyeliner's tip is really small and very flexible, which makes is easier to apply.

To be honest the eyeshadows are not very pigmented (as you can see on these swatches). You have to put a lot of eyeshadow to make it visible. They blend quite well, but the color dissapear while blending, so you have to add more and more. They go all over the face, so you have to be careful while applying. Another thing is that the eyeshadows doesn't last long. I used to MAC eyeshadows' quality, where in the end of the day my make-up looks exacly the same as it was in the morning. With these onces re-application is needed.

It gets even worse with the eyeliner. As you can see on the picture, the pigmentation is really bad. You need AT LEAST two layers to make it looks nice. As much as I hate waterproof mascaras, my eyeliner has to be totally waterproof. For this one you need only ONE drop of water to ruin your look. Not only it will dissapear within a second, but also it will smudge all over the eye. It is the worst eyeliner I have tested so far.



#2 ALICA NAIL POLISH (COTTON CANDY + ROAD CHERRY BLOSSOMS)

These colours are so pretty !!! One is a milky pink with a hint of beige. Really classy and elegant, will match every outfit. The second one is a golden pink glitter. I don't have these colours in my nail polish collection. Also they dry quickly. For a best coverage you need 2 layers. Very flattering, I love them !!!

#3 MACQUEEN LOVING YOU TINT GLOW (LOVELY PINK & VIVID PINK)

"This is a multipurpose lip product, combining both a lip balm and a lipstick ! It will nourish, protect, and plump lips"

Next we have two lip tints/lip balms/lipsticks. Two colours: baby pink and bright pink.

I would rather say that these are coloured lip balms. they don't give much of a colour, but they are quite creamy and hydrating. You need few layers to actually see the colour. I really like them, perfect for a daily use.

As you can see the colour is very subtle. But when it's on the lips, it will stay all day no matter how much you will eat or drink. It's almost non-removable.



#4 DRWW MIX & MATCH

"Drww's Mix & Match is a multi-purpose kit that combines lip balm, concealer and blush. With 4 different lip items, you can alter your look simply by choosing a different color."

 The package is so gorgeous: vivid, vibrant, colorful. It's also quite flat, which is perfect for carrying it in a bag. It also has a mirror so makes it easy for touch-ups during the day.

I love the combination of colours. You have pink, coral and orange which you can mix to get an individual colour. All three colours have matt formula, but if you want it to shine, you simply put a transparent gloss (the lavender one). The yellow product is a lip concealer. 

The pigmentation is amazing. You need a little amount of product to cover your entire lip area completly. I think they're quite long lasting (I bite my lips constantly and I "eat" any lipstick which is on my lips, so it's hard for me to judge). Also these colours are perfect for cheek area. Every shade will give some colour to your face. Lastly they blend very nicely.



#5 ETUDE HOUSE FACE DESIGNING BRIGHTENER (#1 PINK BEAM)

"This is the perfect highlighter to brighten your complexion"

Nice girly packaging. Not too small not too big, perfect for carrying it in a bag.

Inside you will find a puff with which you apply the product.

The colour is very flattering. It's very subtle, gives the face a beautifull glow. Very easy to apply.


FINAL OPINION

I would rate this box 5/5. Except the eye palette, every product is really nice and useful. Love the colours, the texture, etc. Congratulations Memebox !!! :)
