I really like using gel creams during summer time. They are light and absorb quickly. The same is with Mizon Water Volume Aqua Gel Cream. It has really gentle fresh scent. It’s also quite sticky, after putting onto face, absorbs immediately. Sometimes when I feel that my skin is really dry, I put a thicker layer (works like a face mask). The feeling is amazing! You can actually feel how it infiltrates your skin layers. But you have to be careful with dozing the cream, because if use too much, it might make your face a little bit sticky.  And it has a cooling effect as well. Ideal summer cream. If you have dry skin it will be perfect for you. The container of the cream is quite big. It will last long, because you need just a tiny amount to put on your face.
Mizon is one of my favorite brands. No matter what I order, I’m always satisfied with the purchase.

IT'S SKIN ALOE SOOTHING GEL 90%

Lately I have been so busy with my work and I didn’t have time to update my blog.  So many things to do, so little time....

Some time ago on Gmarket I bought Aloe Vera Gel. I chose the one from It’s Skin, because I like the brand and I trust it.

The gel smells really nice, but not intensive. The formula is really light. It absorbs really quickly. I like to use it after shaving, because it calms my skin (which can get irritated). It is also good as an after sun lotion (in this case gel).

I heard that is good to put it onto the hair. Apparently it will smooth and nourish them. I have to say that it didn’t work for me. Maybe because my hair is really dry (or maybe because I used it only few times). Nevertheless this is the type of product that is good to have. You won’t use it often, but you know it’s in your closet whenever you need it. I will buy another bottle if I finish the one I have. Besides it’s cheap (especially when you buy it on sale).

I must say that buying on Gmarket is addicting. You will spend a lot of money, but you know you  won’t regret it. I have received some things from there and soon I will let you know about them, so stay tuned ! J

SUISKIN BIOLOGICAL FERMENTO PANACEA

SUISKIN BIOLOGICAL FERMENTO PANACEA

Ingredients:
Water, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane/Cyclohexasiloxane, Arbutin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Arnica, Montana Flower Extract/Achillea Millefolium Extract/Gentiana Lutea Root Extract/Artemisia, Absinthium Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Diethylhexyl Maleate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfome) Seed Oil, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta-Glucan, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Sorbitan Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Caprylyl glycol/Ethylhexylglycerin/Tropolone, Polyacrylamide C13-14 Isoparaffin Laureth-7, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Allantoin, Panthenol, Betaine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Ubiquinone, Adenosine

I really like Suiskin. I have tried a few products and every time I was happy. This essence is just great. It softens my skin, nourishes, brightens and hydrates. The skin is tighter, looks really healthy (after one week of using it I have noticed that my skin is in better condition). I have few products that I cannot live without. This essence is one of them. I can truly recommend it.

I think it will be great for every skin type: from dry to oily and sensitive.

IT'S SKIN ICE CREAMY LIPBAR

It’s Skin Ice Creamy Lipbar, colour no. 1 (milky strawberry)

This lip balm is really creamy and really smooth. It has a very gentle scent (strawberry). That’s it for good sides. It does completely nothing to my lips: doesn’t hydrate or moisturize them. It turns them into a bright fuchsia pink colour (which I really don’t like). It’s not easy to wipe it, the colour stays for hours. This lip balm is not expensive, but there is no point of buying it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

LIOELE PORE PROGRAM

Today I want to write about Lioele Pore Program set. It contains Pore Opening Massage Gel, Blackhead Clear, Pore Clean and Tightening Pack and Tightening Dr. Ampoule.

PORE OPENING MASSAGE GEL

Ingredients:
PEG-8, Sodium Silicoaluminate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Honey Extract, Caffeine, Black Strap Powder, Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Extract, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Dimethicone, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Water, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance (Parfum)

You just put a small amount of gel onto your nose, massage about  1 or 2 minutes and then remove it with a cotton pad. It is suppose to open your pores to make it easier to remove the blackheads. It really works! My nose feels warm after using the gel. And you need only a little amount of it. The only bad thing about this product is the price – quite expensive stuff. I really like it but I don’t think it’s a must have.

BLACKHEAD CLEAR

Ingredients:
Water, Triethanolamine, Hemamelis, Virginian (Witch Hazel) Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate,Dipropylene Flycol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hydrolyzed Algin, Zinc Sulfate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (licorice) Root Extract, Rhus Semialata Gall Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Algea Extract, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Melia Azadirachta Extract, Camellia Sinesis Leaf Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion) Rhizome/Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Platycodon Grandiflorum Root Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Hedera Hekix (Ivy) Leaf/Stem Extract, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Phenoxyethanol, Pathenol, Citric Acid,Methylparaben, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA

I really had high expectations for this product. It suppose to remove the blackheads. I can be patient, so I was using it for some time (I don’t remember exactly for how long). It doesn’t work at all (at least form me). The only good thing about this product is the scent. And again it is an expensive stuff. I will not buy it again.

PORE CLEAN AND TIGHTENING PACK

Ingredients:
Water, Kaolin, Butylene Glycol, Betain, Bentonite, Titanium Dioxide, Alcohol, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Cellulose Gum, MEthyl Paraben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Extract, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate

I like it a lot. The skin feels clean and refreshed after using it. This mask also closes the pores. The scent  it really fresh. What I don’t like about it, is that it irritates my skin. I guess this product is perfect for oily skin. It will help fighting with acne. The price for this product is quite reasonable.

PORE CLEAN AND TIGHTENING DR. AMPOULE

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin,Alcohol Denat, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Zinc PCA PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Polysorbate 20, Carbomer, Oleanolic Acid, Hydrolyzed Soy Flour, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Epilobium Angustifolium, Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract, Monarda Didyma Leaf Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Freesia Alba Flower Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) leaf Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Petroselinum Sativum (Parsley) Extract, Potassium Alum, Arginine, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3

It is a good product. It helps to close the pores, it has the antibacterial function. After applying, it absorbs immediately and leaves the skin soft and smooth. Again it is too strong for my sensitive skin (for oily one will be perfect). The price is high, but it’s worth it. I would buy it again.

Is it worth to buy the whole set? The massage gel is nice, but it’s something you can leave without. Blackhead remover doesn’t work at all. The mask and ampoule are really good, but you don’t need to have them both. One is simply enough (both of them give almost the same effect).  Besides the whole set is really expensive.

SUISKIN DEEP SEA WATER CLEANSER

Suiskin is one of my favorite skincare brands from Korea. It was founded in August 2009 in cooperation with Korea’s Universal Cosmetic and La Clinique de Switzerland, Zurich.
This brand uses as natural ingredients as possible, such like glacial mineral water from Alps, selection of organically grown herbs and also “Nano and Skin Lipid Barrier Technology”

In my opinion the cosmetics are suitable for every skin type: from sensitive to oily.

SUISKIN DEEP SEA WATER CLEANSER
INGREDIENTS:
PEG-8 glyceryl isostearate, mineral oil, cylomethicone, cetyl ethylhexanoate, water, fragrance, tocopheryl acetate, DMDM hydantoin, Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, salvia officinalis oil, lavandula angustifolia oil, rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil, sea water, lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, cysteine, penylalanine, benzophenone-5, blue 1 (CI 42090), red 33 (CI 17200)

WHAT IT DOES:
-          Removes makeup and dirt
-          Moisturizes and nourishes

The texture is oily. It’s really easy to spread it on your face, easy to rinse it with water. The skin is not greasy after washing, it does feel refreshed and moisturized.  It has nice flower scent (not so strong).

It really does all things written above. It removes makeup and dirt really good (I don’t need to use other eye makeup remover). Comparing to other cleansers, my skin is moisturized, is not dry or irritated, feels really soft.

Some time ago I read that cleaning your skin with oils is much more better than cleaning it with foam cleansers, gel cleansers, etc . It is the best way to clean your skin and I will never use other cleanser than oil.

MISSHA M VITA BB CREAM (MATTE) SPF 20/PA++

"M Vita BB Cream contains 7 essential vitamin complexes derived from natural ingredients, and helps to improve the skin. It naturally evens out skin texture and brightens skin tone with a moist and light finish. Nano Vita Complex, which is the 7 essential vitamins, enhances skin vitality. Natural Protector, with anti-pollution and soothing benefit, relieves skin stresses. Other skin soothing ingredients include Grapefruit Seed Extract and Neem Tree Extract. Also contains Anti Shadow Complex to help make the skin clear and Jewelry Complex to make skin bright and radiant.”

This sounds really tempting. But is it really as good as the producer says it is?
The consistency is really creamy. When you put it onto your face you should use your fingers rather than a sponge or brush, because it’s hard to rub it in. For a few minutes the skin looks quite light, but after some time it nicely blends in.

Like it’s written on the tube, it gives a total matt finish. But on the other side it also gives a healthy glow to your skin. It’s like a combination of matt formula and glow formula ( I guess it’s the Jewelry Complex).
This BB cream will be perfect for dry, sensitive or normal skin. May not be good for oily. It has a subtle flower scent. The coverage is not really strong, so if you want a stronger cover, you will have to use a foundation or concealer together with this BB cream.

It has one minus: it doesn’t stay long. After about 4 hours you have to redo your makeup. But except this tiny little disadvantage it does everything what the producer says: makes your skin matt, adds a healthy glow, makes it softer and moisturizes well.

This BB cream will be perfect for an “English rose” skin types. My skin is quite light but it has a yellow pigment, so it makes me look a little bit too pale.

Oh, and there is another minus: comes only in one shade.

As you can see from the picture I almost finished it. I have to say that it is one of my favorite BB creams and will definitely buy it again!

Here It Begins…

I have been crazy about Asian cosmetics (mostly Korean). I have tried everything I could: from BB creams, face masks, mascaras to lipsticks. I am buying them like an insane person, especially during sale. Few days ago, while searching a review on one BB cream, I thought why not create a blog, where I could share some thoughts and opinions about the cosmetics which I have already used? Maybe I will help someone who wants to try something new, but is not sure if the product is good or safe? I know there is so many people, who is scared to use the Asian products. Believe me, if you try it once you will never go back to your old ones !

I little bit about me: my name is Alex, I was born in Poland where I currently live. I am fascinated by South Korea, its history, culture, politics, music, beauty and lifestyle. Why Korea? While studying French in Rambouillet near Paris, most of my close friends were Koreans. They told me about history and culture of their country and that’s how my adventure with Korea started. My other passions are interior design and  cooking.

Here on this blog I want to share with you not only the “Asian cosmetics experience”,  but also to show you my favorite places in Europe, my favorite recipes and all other things about beauty and lifestyle. Hope you will enjoy it !

Please forgive my mistakes as English is not my mother language J
