HOLIKA HOLIKA MAGIC POLE MASCARA No 1 (POWER VOLUME) REVIEW

I always was curious about Asian mascaras. A lot of bloggers and vloggers were talking about how waterproof they are. Since I'm not a fan of waterproof mascaras, I didn't want to try any. Until I have found this one - Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara. The thing that caught my eye was fancy package. Pink and purple combination is so pretty! And also the wand is quite interesting.

It really looks like a magic wand. The shorter ball is for lower lashes, but I'm using it also for the upper ones. It's also quite flexible so it's easy to apply the product onto the lashes.

Like I said I don't like waterproof mascaras. It's hard to take them off and most of the time you can damage your lashes. This mascara is smudge proof, but definitely not waterproof (what can be seen on the picture).

This mascara really gives more volume and length to lashes. It makes them long, thick and beautiful, also it curls them gently. I don't need to wear false lashes anymore. I'm fully satisfied with this mascara and it's one of my favourite ones.

MEMEBOX LUCKYBOX #4 REVIEW

You probably heard about the beauty boxes, which you can subscribe to and once a month you will receive a box full of goodies. I really like these kind of subscriptions, because I can try out different kinds of products. I was so excited when I found out that there is a Korean beauty box - MEMEBOX. I immediately ordered few of them. The first which arrived was Memebox Luckybox #4.

The box arrived very quickly, very well packed. 

What I really like about it, is that is pink !! How cute is that? :)

Uderside you will find the scan code, which will redirect you the the Memebox website (so you can check the latest boxes and promotions).

Inside there is a leaflet with descriptions of all the products included in the box.

In this Memebox you will find all different kind of products: from makeup to beauty. Some are samples, some are full size. You never know what you will get. Sometimes you can guess, sometimes Memebox shows spoilers for one or two products. 

So exciting! Lets see what's inside:



#1 MIGUHARA B.P CREAM (2 x 3ml)

"This dual-function cream serves both as a BB cream as well as a primer. It keeps skin silky and even-toned, while controlling excessive sebum through its oil-free formula"

Looks like it will be perfect for oily skin (since it controls sebum).

At First it looks quite dark, but it blends into the skin immediately. It actually works like Benefit POREfessional ! Skin is silky soft. It also gives the matte effect. It might not be good for dry skin, but with a moisturizer it might work nicely. I think I will like this B.P cream.

#2 HOLIKA HOLIKA SKIN & GOOD CERA SUPER CREAM (10 ml)

" This ultra-hydraating cream not only hydrates the skin but also enhances the water-holding capacity of the skin, thanks to its powerful hydrating ingredients 'ceramide'"

Sounds like a good night time moisturizer. Might be perfect for night skin care routine.

It is very rich. For oily skin might be too rich, but for dry and combination might be just perfect.

#3 CNP LABORATORY CLEANSING PERFECTA (50 ml)

"Cleansing perfecta is used to remove waterproof makeup, BB cream and sunblock. This oil free cleansing gel thoroughly removes stubborn waterproof makeup and sunblock"

It's always good to have a lot of cleansing products to get rid of makeup and BB cream. Looking forward to try it on.

#4 GLORY NAIL VEGAN LACQUER (15 ml)

" It is a nail lacquer from professional nail care brand with self-developed built-in brush that makes color on your nail you see from the bottle"

You never have too many nail lacquers ;) The colour looks really nice.

#5 MAMONDE FIRST ENERGY SERUM (10ml)

" IT is a light-texture serum featuring powerful natural ingredients 'Gold-and-Silver Flower Vinegar'. the flower vinegar is fermented for over 60 days in a clay pot and it evens out the skin texture and clarity for more beautiful and prepares skin for makeup."

I heard and read so much good things about this brand. I really cannot wait to try this serum! It might work like a primer, but also nourish the skin. 

It also came with a little samples of CC cream and (another one) First Energy serum.

#6 GOODAL REPAIR PLUS ESSENTIAL OIL (15 ml)

" A fast-absorbing multi-use essential oil directly derived from 7 kinds of super seeds, argan, olive, macadamia, sun flower seeds, jojoba, camelia, and green tea seeds. The combination of super seeds oil hydrates, firms the skin and enhance the skin complexion."

It seems like it will be perfect for night skin care routine.

It has a mint smell. Maybe more menthol than mint.

#7 HEARTFACE ULTRA PORE CARE SLEEPING PACK (20 ml)

" Ultra Pore Care Sleeping Pack is a sleeping pack that keeps your skin moisturized all night long. Additionally, it minimizes your pores and controls sebum production while you're asleep!"

I'm looking forward to try it. Sounds really promising.

#8 LJH TEA TREE 90 ESSENCE (20 ml)

" A lightly-textured tea tree oil formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Made from 90% tea tree extract, LHJ's Tea Tree Essence 90 clears, moisturises and brightens troubled skin, targeting acne and delivering nutrients deeply for a hydrated, vibrant complexion. Key ingredients include sea buckthorn and centella asiatica, plants known to delay the skin maturation process and speed the healing of damaged tissue."

I don't have acne skin, but looking forward to try this essence. It will be great to nourish and refresh the skin. Perfect for daytime skin care routine.

#9 GOWOONSESANG BLING BLING BB CREAM (45 ml)

" It is an all-in-one essence, sun protection an BB cream that covers from skincare to complexion coverage. The soft texture featured by the swirl of essence and BB will add flawless and fine texture and tone to your skin."

I'm so excited getting this BB cream !! I actually own this one and the one which came in the box will be my backup. I really, really LOVE this BB cream. It makes your skin look really healthy. It also has a glow finish. I will be reviewing it soon.

Using fingers to apply the BB cream is a good idea, but applying it with brush or sponge will give much more better effect (perfectly smooth skin).

Let's analyze all promised effects:

1. "Enriched with Platinum to nourish the skin, protect against free radical damage and revitalize skin"

Platinum is a great antioxidant, also improves the skin surface texture. It also can be moisturizing (but some people doubt it ). For sure it revitalize skin. My skin feels nourished, but I'm not sure if it's because of my face cream or this BB cream

2. "Platinum is the rarest and most stable form of precious metal, it not only makes skin more radiant, but also lightens fine lines and wrinkles"

Like I wrote earlier, Platinum is a great antioxidant. La Prairie has also created face cream, which contains Platinum (by the way it costs 1,000$ for 30 ml,  how crazy is that??!!). After using this product, my skin is more radiant. I don't know about wrinkles since I don't have any (maybe some under my eyes, but not that visible).

3. "Light velvety texture, effectively conceals flaws with natural, nude finish"

The coverage is amazing. Skin looks like it has been photoshopped. It has medium to high coverage. Every skars or blemishes are fully hidden. This BB cream also gives natural, glowy finish. 

4. "Enriched with Tanaka Extract to make skin fairer and keep it cool even under the hot sun"

My skin is quite fair, so I cannot say if it made it more fairer. What I can say is that my scars from squeezing pimples almost vanished. I don't think it keeps my skin cool under the sun though.

5. "Refines pores and smoothens skin"

I completely agree. My skin feels smooth after using this BB cream and pores are also smaller.

6. "Nourishes skin with herbs, nutrients and mineral elements to revitalize skin"

It's true, skin is nourished and revitalized. Feels and looks really smooth.

7. "Regulates oil secretion"

I'm not sure if it will be good for oily skin, might be too rich. I don't have problems with "T-zone" section, so I cannot say if it will control sebum.

8. "Protects skin from harmful UV rays and external pollutants"

It has SPF 25 and PA ++, so protection is quite hight.

9. "Moisturizes skin to prevent dryness"

It is perfect for my dry skin. It's moisturized all day long. Doesn't show the dry patches as well. Pefect BB cream for dry skin.

10. "Reveals flawless, radiant and natural makeup. Look younger and more charming"

This is so true. My skin looks just perfect after applying this BB cream. All blemishes are covered, pores are covered, gives a natural glow to my skin. But in the same time it has matte finish.

FINAL OPINION:

This is my ultimate number 1 BB cream. It's just perfect: covers all imperfections, nurishes the skin, moisturizes, gives a natural glow, lasts from 8 to 10 hours. Adjusts perfectly to skin. It also improves the skin condition (skars and blemishes are vanishing after some time). I can truly recommend Bio-essence Bio Platinum BB Cream 10 in 1.

GINVERA WHITENING MARVEL GEL REVIEW

A while ago I was searching for a good peeling gel. Many bloggers wrote a really good reviews about it. I decided to give it a chance. I wasn't disappointed. It worked  well on my skin. Was very gentle, didn't irritate my skin (it doesn't contain any exfoliating beads) and had pleasant, gentle scent. After using my skin felt really smooth without the annoying feeling of dryness. It didn't completly removed my blackheads, but surely removed some of them. The scars from squeezing pimples became less visible. Very easy to use ( just take an adequate amount of gel and rub it about 30 seconds until the dead skin starts to appear) and very gentle. This became my ultimate number one exfoliating gel. 

Another great thing about Ginvera Marvel Gel is that it contains the green tea extract, which is well known anti-oxidant and helps with sebum control. I really recommend this product !
