This is one of the most popular BB Creams beauty bloggers and vloggers are raving about. I have seen and read so many reviews on it and decided to try it out myself.
It comes in a blue (aqua blue) box including also a makeup sponge (sorry I threw it away so I cannot show it on the picture). The package of the BB cream is really pretty. It's a jelly shaped glass bottle. You get the product from the bottle using attached spatula. The BB cream itself has a jelly like consistency, very light. It also has a gorgeous flowery scent (if you don't like strong smells you probably won't like it). I bought it in shade no 1, which is aqua beige (very light beige). It has a yellow pigment, which is perfect for me. It's a very light colour, so it will be great for a really fair skin.
These are really all good things I can write about this product....
It was a complete disaster for my dry skin. After applying, my skin felt really dry and tight. It left smudges and looked cakey. The coverage is light, so I needed to apply another layer. After that my face just looked weird. Also it underlined my dry patches. It has a really matte finish and dries very fast. Applied too much, the BB cream creates "a second skin", which doesn't look good.
Overall the Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB Cream didn't work for me. This was the first BB cream that I really disliked. In my opinion it was created for a combination to oily skin. I'm not sure, if it will work for a sensitive skin. I gave it to my friend, maybe the BB cream will work for her.
I forgot to make photos before giving the BB cream away, so I ask my friend to do them for me and below you can find the photos of colour no. 1 Aqua Beige:
